The Spa Retreat
The home and site sustain the environment and by inclusion, the health of its occupants. The Retreat evokes serenity, peace of mind and wellbeing. It is the space to be alone, think or erase all thoughts, read or nap on the day bed, or relax in the soaking tub before a hot shower.
“If I have the time” will be easier to find because the Retreat is beckoning. The architectural qualities of space, open, double height yet intimate-separate while uniquely connected to the residence, reaffirm our commitment to sustainability through choice of materials, finishes, lighting and artwork. To promote efficiency and functionality, emphasis is placed on economy of means and simplicity of expression. Materials support function and architectural intent, minimize demand on virgin resources, maximize reuse, recycling and yes, they were selected because they are beautiful. On the days the mind wanders to warm beaches or soaring mountains—anywhere to get away that special place is at home, waiting.
