The Grounds
The garden design is an integral part of making the home suitable for a busy 21st century family that lives, works, plays and perhaps even “farms” at home!
The design of the grounds of the CharityWorks GreenHouse is part of the overall plan for energy and water conservation. It will include native plants selected for their drought-tolerance, disease resistance and low maintenance. Materials selected for hardscapes will come from sustainable sources or have high post-consumer, post-industrial recycled content. Two green roofs will help insulate the home while creating a peaceful natural oasis for the second story.
